Non-Residents

Meal Plans purchased after April 8, 2024 will be loaded for the Fall 2024 semester

Non-Resident students living outside of UTC housing have the option to purchase one of seven meal plans that offer the ultimate dining flexibility and value. Non-Resident meal plans can only be purchased with a credit/debit card. If you wish to use funds from your student account, we recommend using your refund check to cover your purchase using these forms of tender. There is no deadline to purchase a plan for the semester. 

Non-resident meal plans are a one semester commitment and you must re-purchase the plan of your choosing for additional semesters. Meal plans expire at the end of every semester. There will be a 9.25% tax added to the amount at the time of checkout. Meal plans are non-refundable 24 hours after initial purchase.

Non-Resident students can purchase their meal plan using Financial Aid at the beginning of every semester. Please fill out the Financial Aid Deferment Form and email the completed form to mocscard@utc.edu. UTC will automatically charge the student's account for the cost of the meal plan selection plus 9.25% sales tax. If the cost of the meal plan exceeds the amount of aid available, UTC will contact the student to work out payment or discuss options.

Meal Exchange is available on select meal plans. A meal exchange swipe gives you the ability to use one of your Crossroads Dining Hall Meal Swipes at approved locations for a $7.00 value. When your transaction is over $7.00, you can use Mocs Bucks, Credit/Debit, or Scrappy Cash to pay the remainder of the balance. The only campus dining locations the meal exchange is not accepted at is Starbucks and POD Markets. Meal Exchange swipes can only be used once per day.

All Access plan Meal Swipes expire at the end of every semester.

Weekly 10 plan Meal Swipes expire at the end of each week. 

Unused Meal Exchange Swipes expire at the end of each week. 

Mocs Bucks will expire at the end of every semester.
